Pam Sripada
Clinical Director
LMSW/MBA CAADC
Pam shifted her career path in 2007, leaving behind her roles in technology and corporate America due to a lack of fulfillment. After volunteering at domestic violence agencies, she decided to pursue an MSW and further her education in social work by completing a postgraduate certificate researching the “The Help Seeking Behaviors of Women in Domestic Violence”.
Pam has experience as a court advocate for victims of domestic violence and is a registered expert witness in the state of Michigan. Pam spent time working at a rehabilitation center for substance use where she provided outpatient care for clients that recently completed inpatient services. She also worked in a community mental health setting in Detroit and provided psychiatric crisis intervention to several Detroit hospitals, recommending the level of care needed for patients in crisis. Pam’s work in the community gave her a broad background of the variety of factors involved in mental health.
Pam's clinical expertise includes trauma-informed care, substance dependence, mood disorders, and personality disorders. She holds an advanced certificate in alcohol and drug use (CAADC) and most recently completed IMAGO training for couples therapy. Pam is well-suited for clients with complex PTSD that typically coincide with co-occurring disorders involving both mental health and addiction. Pam’s treatment approaches include: CBT, psychodynamic, IMAGO, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, trauma-informed, emotionally focused, attachment-based, stages of change, and somatic interventions.
